"As ephemeral as our footprints were in the sand along the river, so also were those moments of childhood caught in the photographs. And so will be our family itself, our marriage, the children who enriched it and the love that has carried us through so much. All this will be gone. What we hope will remain are these pictures, telling our brief story." ~ Sally Mann
Looking back, it seems like photography has always been in my life. Yet, for a long time it didn’t seem that obvious. I think it all clicked into place when my husband bought me my first digital camera when our first daughter was born. Ever since they were born I have been taking photographs…………..
I studied for my BA in Photography not long after my second child was born. After my studies I ran ‘moments photography’ for Weddings and family portraits for 4 years.
I currently lecturer in Photography at NEScol, Aberdeen while continuing to work and develop my Personal projects.
